Gboluwaga Akinade IBUOYE popularly known as GAISE is an Afrofusion artiste signed on to Sanctified Records Ltd.

A KC old boy, he studied Economics Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where he graduated with a Second Class Upper degree. He became a professional music artiste in 2010.

GAISEBABA, his debut album was released in August 2011 and it introduced Gaise unto the Music scene as a lyrically sound writer.

Gaise is a lyricist with a sweet rhythmic style of delivery. A creative songwriter who uses a rich blend of witty rhymes and Yoruba lyrics, with sound positive content that appeals to all generations.

He has been described as a ‘fresh breath’ in the Nigerian Music Industry. The GAISEBABA album was accompanied by a video “follow follow” which was nominated for the Best Indigenous Concept, Nigerian Music Video Awards 2011. He won The Scepters Award for New Revelation in 2011. Also a nomination for Best Video at The Africa Entertainment Awards, Malaysia.

He released another video in March 2012 for “The Movie Song” (directed by DJ Tee), to critical acclaim and rave reviews.

He has a massive fan base in the South-West part of Nigeria and has headlined shows in these parts, among which is at the 1^st Ekiti Mega Fiesta (December 2011), where he performed alongside Tuface and Sasha. He has also performed among other places at MTN Record Breakers Summit (Feb 2012); Glo Laftafest Ado-Ekiti (April 2012); Cool FM Praise Jam (December 2011); Felabration (Oct 2011), Hip Hop World Award Nominees’ party, Premier FM Ibadan 10^th anniversary celebrations, and Pepsi Campus Tour.
